Remembering...........

Have you ever sat down and wondered when it all started downhill? I have many times, and just can't find the exact time, but have some ideas as to when. I remember being the remote control when t.v.'s first came out. My dad would have me lay in front of the t.v. and change channels for him. It wasn't hard to decide since we had only three channels, but he went back and forth many times to decide. there were no vcr's, or other recording devices. You could put Tom Teriffic plastic on the screen and help him when needed (it was a cartoon). Gas was only 25 cents a gallon. I could fill up for 5 dollars when on empty, oh my god!!!!!! I had to walk almost everywhere until I got my license and dad bought me a 57 chevy in 64. I was not very appreciative of that car and oh, how I wish i had been now.
